He provided to me an in-depth market analysis and explained how he would Market my home. Because of a personal circumstance we had to adjust the listing timeline and he was absolutely fabulous about this. He walked me through every step of the process and was absolutely Rock Solid. Importantly my home sold for full listing price which made me extremely happy. He also helped me do several small things around the house which he did not have to do. Joshua was referred to us (my sister and me) by a business associate who promised we would not be disappointed.
Truer words were never spoken! Thinking we were going to list our mom’s house ourselves, we soon realized that we didn’t even know where to start. Next, I contacted a realtor who didn’t share the same confidence in the property that we did. After nine days of pulling comps and discussing value, we still had not agreed on an asking price; nor had we signed a contract. Frustrated and reluctant to deal with another realtor, I still picked up the phone and called Joshua. Immediately, I knew that I wanted him to sell my mom’s home. Josh was upbeat, professional and very personable. He explained NextHome’s market strategy; discussed his sales background and commitment to service; displayed a strong knowledge of the area of mom’s home and their sales record; etc. Joshua assured me that he was confident he could not only sell mom’s house for our desired asking price (approx. $75K higher than the previous realtor was comfortable with); but, that he would be able to sell it very quickly. When I actually met him the next day, Joshua presented me with a hardbound book that detailed info on NextHome; himself; mom’s house; and comps. I was totally blown away, especially since we had not even signed a contract. I phoned my sister and the three of us agreed that we wanted to work together. From there, things flew by very quickly and smoothly. Of course, we all know anything can happen between the offering and the actual closing.
